VISUS supports trend-setting future project of the Sana – Group

Cooperation contract for establishing a sector spanned image and finding communication

 

Within the scope of their project ‘electronic case file (eFA)’ for transsectoral interchange of patient data, the Sana - Group signed a cooperation contract with VISUS. The IT service provider in Bochum uses its established JiveX- solutions and allows the communication and visualization of image and finding documents from graphics providing methods via eFA.

 

Sana would like to realize a telematic user service with which image communication and processing in doctor/doctor relations as well as in doctor/patient relations can be run as portal solutions. Combined solutions for integrated image communication for cooperating houses and referring people should be developed and implemented for this. "In the fields PACS and image distribution we are working with VISUS for a long time in different houses. It was only logical to also continue the existing partnership in this project and to get hold of know how especially in DICOM communication," Gerald Götz said.
