Looking Forwards After a Successful ECR

VISUS will present solutions for complete picture management at the conhIT and the German Radiology Congress

 

It is a happy statement for the European Congress of Radiology (ECR) which is given by Peter Rosiepen, sales director at VISUS. "We had a lot of qualified contacts to interested people and were able to cultivate our partner relationships. There was a high demand for our PACS solutions especially for endoscopy and cardiology."

But instantaneously after the Vienna event VISUS already looks forward. Also this year the IT provider from Bochum will be present at the conhIT (April 8 to 10) and the German Radiology Congress (May 1 to 3). In focus there will be the web based, integrative and cross - departmental PACS solution JiveX. It allows the implementation of a cross - hospital network from picture acquisition to picture and finding distribution with digital finding to radiological consultation and picture archiving.

 

Special PACS Solutions

The PACS portfolio is topped off by special solutions for endoscopy and cardiology. Both are based on the DICOM standard and thus can be integrated into existing networks without problems. With JiveX Cardiology users are able to embed angiography and ECG pictures into the existing PACS. JiveX Endoscopy is used for DICOM video acquisition as well as for picture and video documentation.

 

Teleradiology

Next to the classical point to point teleradiology VISUS also presents interlocking solutions for big teleradiology networks. The DICOM E-mail function allows to implement an independent DICOM network for highly efficient picture communication across several sites. Such a simple solution for transmission of high volume medical picture data to the assigning doctor is not offered by any other provider in Germany.

 

ASP / SSP Solutions

Another highlight is the ASP solution on a pay-per-use basis. The BOT model combines the Enterprise PACS solution with the JiveX SSP solution for external long term archiving. The concept consists of different business types and mentoring programs with which all individual picture management processes in hospital and practice will be ensured in the long run.

 

If needed VISUS provides the customer with everything from software and services including full service to IT infrastructure with archive, server as well as finding workstations and monitors to highly available long term archiving in the data processing center for 24/7 operations. The user does not need to invest, he is paying solely for usage and therefore is able to plan his costs on a reliable basis.
