RSNA 2018 – Well Connected with JiveX

'Tomorrow's radiology today' is the motto of this year's RSNA, which will take place in Chicago on November 25-29, 2018. One can hardly imagine the future without the increasing need for data exchange, which is the issue that is being widely discussed by radiologists from around the world today. Whether in the context of legal requirements, regional networks or national structures: Medical data in general and radiological in particular must be available across healthcare facilities. The recipients' requirements are very different in nature and, for example, depend on whether the data is intended for a patient or a clinical facility.

Accordingly, this requires flexible solutions that can serve all networking scenarios. At this year's RSNA, VISUS will be presenting JiveX Connect, which is a package of different solutions, all of which aim to share data across sectors easily, securely and quickly. The philosophy behind this is to offer the right communication channel for every workflow. Whether a hard copy, download, patient CD, URL link (link share) or direct access: Patients and physicians should be provided with all types of data, such as medical examination reports, records and, of course, images, in a customized manner.

Downstream processes, such as data download (DICOM / JPEG / PDF etc.) to the in-house file system, are also considered here. This would allow the attending physician to import X-ray images for follow-up in his/her own PACS. Patients however will also be able to save their images and medical examination reports on their own data carriers.
