Exchanging medical data between medical establishments is part of daily business—and has specific requirements. One factor is security, while another is the technical specifications of the recipients. We have developed several tools to digitally cover all communication options and thus to improve information density and ultimately the quality of care provided.
These tools are bundled together in JiveX Healthcare Connect. It includes solutions for communication between different groups: among specialists along the healthcare chain or between medical personnel and patients.
Healthcare facilities are increasingly preferring software-as-a-service solutions to ensure that they are always flexible and up to date. The solutions are located on an external server and are provided to the facilities for a subscription fee. This means that operation, maintenance, updates, and upgrades are carried out by us as the operating company.
With JiveX Link Share, we provide healthcare facilities with the ability to share large volumes of data, such as images, using a link or QR code. This is particularly important for sending data to patients because data can be received without having to be directly connected to a facility’s infrastructure. JiveX Link Share functions like download links in the consumer sector but has the necessary security features that are required for transferring and displaying medical information. The link can be forwarded by patients as desired to clinics or other facilities.
JiveX Upload is perfectly suited for healthcare facilities that need to receive medical data such as previous radiology images from external parties. The upload portal can be easily integrated onto the facility website, and patients or referring physicians can easily upload previous images, consent forms, and the like from home. The advantage of this is that the data are not transferred directly to the systems of the healthcare facility but first land on a VISUS server where they are checked for malware or other issues. Once the data has been checked and cleared, it is then sent to the primary system of the recipient.
