Collection and Processing of Data
All access to our website and all downloads of files stored on this website are logged. Storage serves internal system-related and statistical purposes. The following are logged: Name of the downloaded file, date and time of download, data volume transferred, notification of successful download, web browser and requestor domain. In addition, the IP addresses of requestor computers are logged. Further personal data is only recorded if the website user and/or customer provides this information voluntarily, e.g. as part of an inquiry or registration or to placement of an order or via the user's browser settings.
Use and Forwarding of Personal Data
Where the user of our website has supplied personal data, we only use this to respond to inquiries by the website user and/or customer, to handle orders concluded with the website user and/or customer, and for technical administration. Personal data is only forwarded or otherwise transferred by us to third parties if this is necessary for the purposes of order handling or billing purposes or if the website user and/or customer has previously given his consent. The website user and/or customer has the right to revoke the given consent at any time, with future effect.
The stored personal data is deleted if the website user and/or customer revokes consent to storage, if knowledge of that data is no longer necessary for fulfillment of the purpose sought via storage, or if its storage is not permitted for other legal reasons. Our website uses Google Analytics. This web analysis service is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter: Google).
The analysis tool works using cookies. A cookie is a text file which is sent when a website is visited and then stored temporarily on the hard drive of the website user and/or customer, in order to enable analysis of your use of the website. The information saved by the cookie is generally sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
We use the online advertising program "Google AdWords" and, as part of Google AdWords, Conversion Tracking. Google Conversion Tracking is an analysis service of Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google"). If you click on an advert displayed by Google, a conversion tracking cookie is placed on your computer. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days; they contain no personal data and therefore cannot serve to identify you in person.
If you visit certain Internet pages on our website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can identify that you have clicked on the advert and were forwarded to this page. Each Google AdWords customer is given a different cookie. There is thus no possibility of cookies being tracked via the websites of AdWords customers.
The information gathered using the conversion cookie is used to provide conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted to take up conversion tracking. In such instances, customers are advised of the total number of users who have clicked on their advert and were forwarded to a page equipped with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information allowing users to be identified in person.
If you do not want to take part in tracking, you can veto this use by preventing cookies from being installed, using a corresponding setting in your browser software (disable option). You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics. You can find further information and Google's privacy statement at: http://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/technologies/ads/, http://www.google.de/intl/en/policies/privacy/
