Managing and archiving radiological data
Intelligent and secure concepts are needed to meet the archiving requirements from a legal and strategic perspective. JiveX is a specialist for the management and archiving of radiological image data.
JiveX archives and manages data in a non-proprietary and audit-proof manner, in other words, independent of the manufacturer of the data-generating modality, as well as unchangeable, traceable and reproducible.
JiveX Medical Archiving supports different concepts and solutions to ensure fail-safety. One of several solutions providing high availability is the independent operation of multiple servers, which are continuously and autonomously synchronized by JiveX. Should one of these servers fail, another one backs up, thus avoiding any data losses or downtime scenarios.
The long-term archiving of data needs to be given careful consideration. JiveX Medical Archiving allows different concepts to be realized, depending on the individual requirements of a facility. JiveX also supports archiving in the cloud, thereby closing the gap between an in-house archiving system and an external data center. Processes for encryption methods and data compression are also taken into account here.
Hierarchical archiving with rule-based data replication represents optimal utilization of the available storage systems. Data which are not used for a longer period of time can be outsourced to a slower and therefore cheaper storage system. If necessary, these data can be reloaded to the faster storage system at any time on a rule-based basis, in other words automatically. This is accomplished at such an early stage that the data are always available to the user when needed.
