Artificial intelligence has arrived in radiological diagnostics. However, it will only become truly productive when the old and new worlds of radiology agree on the language of the standards. This is the prerequisite for mapping the entire examination workflow in PACS in the future.

With the aid of profiles, IHE has described the integration of AI systems into the radiological workflow - thereby laying the foundation for smooth processes and higher treatment quality.

A task force from IHE Europe is working intensively on profiles to integrate AI results into the radiological findings workflow. VISUS is actively involved in this process. The most recent piece of the puzzle is the so-called AIRAI profile.

The European Health Data Space has come into force. Now the clock is ticking for its implementation. Our expert Dr. Marc Kämmerer is involved in developing the guidelines for the exchange of image data.
