All relevant data within one system: in short, JiveX Healthcare Content Management (HCM). An HCM System is characterized by the fact that it puts data into a subject-specific – i.e. medical – context and optimizes them for use in a medical environment. This is the difference between the HCM System and 'generic' systems which house data irrespective of the usage context. The objective is to respond to various needs of users in medical facilities, thus making the daily routine of all users easier and improving the quality of patient care.
While previous IT systems have been solving isolated problems, the HCM examines these from a wider perspective and offers a holistic approach to medical records. The process-based use of medical data is thus brought into focus. And processes vary. Therefore there is no 'ready-made' HCM. Instead, an HCM consists of components which enable the recording, management, storage, presentation and allocation of medical data in a customized manner. HCM offers four core components altogether to provide the medical content management with substantial support.
