Collection and Processing of Data

All access to our website and all downloads of files stored on this website are recorded. Storage is for internal system-related and statistical purposes. The following are recorded: Name of the downloaded file, date and time of download, data volume transferred, notification of successful download, web browser and requestor domain. In addition, the IP addresses of requestor computers are logged. Further personal data is only recorded if the website user and/or customer provides this information voluntarily, e.g. as part of an inquiry or registration or to place an order or via the user's browser settings. We collect the aforementioned data to enable smooth connectivity and convenient usage of our website. Moreover, the aforementioned data serve us for the evaluation of system security and stability as well as for other administrative purposes. The aforementioned purposes also explain our legitimate interest in data collection, while the legal basis for this is Art. 6 clause 1(f) of the GDPR.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies. A cookie is a text file which is sent when a website is visited and it is then stored temporarily on the hard drive of the website user and/or customer. If the website user and/or customer calls up the corresponding server for our website again, the user and/or customer's browser resends to the server the cookie it received earlier. The server can use the information obtained via this procedure in a number of ways. Using cookies, it is possible, for example, to manage pop-up advertising or to make navigating a website easier. If the website user and/or customer wants to prevent the use of cookies, he can do so by making a local change to his settings on the Internet browser used on his computer, i.e. the program for opening and displaying Internet pages (e.g. Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera or Safari). Please be aware that full deactivation of cookies may prevent you from using all functions of our website in full. The aforementioned purposes also explain our legitimate interest in data collection, while the legal basis for this is Art. 6 clause 1(f) of the GDPR.

Disclosure of personal data

Your personal data shall only be disclosed to third parties, if you have given your explicit consent thereto pursuant to Art. 6 Clause 1(a) of the GDPR, if the disclosure is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims pursuant to Art. 6 Clause 1(f) of the GDPR provided that there are no grounds for assuming that you have an overriding legitimate interest in ensuring that such data is not disclosed, if there is a legal obligation to disclose data pursuant to Art. 6 Clause 1(c) of the GDPR, and if it is legally permissible and required to carry out contractual relationships with you pursuant to Art. 6 Clause 1(b) of the GDPR.

Google Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics. This web analysis service is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter: Google).

The legal basis for use of Google Analytics is Art. 6 clause 1(f) of the GDPR, while we have a legitimate interest in ensuring demand-oriented design and continued optimization of our website.

The analysis tool works using cookies. A cookie is a text file which is sent when a website is visited and then stored temporarily on the hard drive of the website user and/or customer, in order to enable analysis of your use of the website. The information saved by the cookie is generally sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

As part of rendering the IP anonymous, your IP address is previously shortened by Google within a Member State of the EU or in another treaty state under the European Economic Area Agreement. In our assignment, Google will use the transferred information to prepare a report on use of the website. The IP address transferred in connection with Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. If you want to prevent the use of cookies, you can do so by making a local change to the settings on the Internet browser used on your computer, i.e. the program for opening and displaying Internet pages (e.g. Safari, Internet Explorer, Opera, Firefox etc.). In addition, you can prevent the recording and processing of your data with the Google cookie by downloading and installing the browser plug-in offered by Google at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. As an alternative to browser add-on, in particular, when browsing on mobile devices, you can also prevent data recording by Google Analytics by setting opt-out cookies. Future recording of your data during your visit on our website will thereby be prevented. Please be aware that the opt-out cookie will only block cookies in the browser you are currently using and only on our website. Removing cookies from this browser will require setting the opt-out cookie once again.

Data collected by Google Analytics will be deleted automatically after 14 months.

Google AdWords

We use the online advertising program "Google AdWords" and Conversion Tracking, as part of Google AdWords. Google Conversion Tracking is an analysis service of Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google"). If you click on an advert displayed by Google, a conversion tracking cookie is placed on your computer. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days; they contain no personal data and therefore cannot be used for personal identification.

The legal basis for use of Google Analytics is Art. 6 Clause 1(f) of the GDPR, whereby we have a legitimate interest in ensuring demand-oriented design and continued optimization of our website.

If you visit certain Internet pages on our website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can identify that you have clicked on the advert and were forwarded to this page. Each Google AdWords customer is given a different cookie. There is thus no possibility of cookies being tracked via the websites of AdWords customers.

The information gathered using the conversion cookie is used to provide conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted to take up conversion tracking. In such instances, customers are advised of the total number of users who have clicked on their advert and were forwarded to a page equipped with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information allowing users to be identified in person.

If you do not want to take part in tracking, you can refuse this use by prevention of cookies in general from being installed by using a corresponding setting in your browser software or simply by blocking cookies from the domain "www.googleadservices.de" (disable option). You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics. You can find further information and Google's privacy statement at: http://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads/, http://www.google.de/policies/privacy/
