VISUS Managed Service

With the VISUS Managed Service features we lighten the load of the IT department and keep an eye on all parameters that are important for reliable IT operation. The facilities themselves decide the amount of support we provide. The service spectrum ranges from JiveX status monitoring, i.e. monitoring of the systems linked with JiveX and their performance parameters, to complete outsourcing of service and maintenance tasks to a predefined extent.

Database security

In order to rule out JiveX databases as a "Single-Point-of-Failure" in complex healthcare structures, we offer advanced structuring concepts on the basis of Galera Cluster. Under these conditions, your data will be managed highly efficiently and redundantly via multiple database nodes, so that the likelihood of a database failure will be drastically reduced. The synchronous replication of data in real time permits high-performance tasks with maximum security.

VISUS offers a full-range operating service for Galera Cluster. In this way, VISUS takes over continuous upkeep both of the needed Linux operating systems and of the actual Galera Cluster and its data bases. This includes a monthly update and patch management, regular review for weaknesses and vulnerabilities as well as functional testing of data backup. Constant and proactive monitoring by means of JiveX Status Monitoring rounds out the package by helping to assure availability of the systems involved.

Loss of data may have – besides issues of legal liability – serious consequences for patients as well as attending physicians. At the same time, it represents one of the greatest concerns for IT specialists. With the Managed Archive feature of VISUS, these concerns are a thing of the past. With our partner (Fast LTA), we are in position to offer and take over all central aspects of archive upkeep and maintenance in one turnkey service package. This begins with hardware delivery and commissioning for a tailor-made storage concept up to permanent monitoring by means of JiveX Status Monitoring around the clock. JiveX Status Monitoring Advanced

Too much information from too many systems? Building on the Basic offering, we take over the proactive monitoring of relevant system parameters with JiveX Status Monitoring Advanced in order to be able to detect trend-based and thus avoidable faults at an early stage. 

Our helpdesk independently creates corresponding tickets. You can thus view the content and status of processing completely and transparently at any time via our service portal.

VISUS Update Service

In the effort to offer our customers the most secure and best working environment at all times, we are continuously striving to keep our software up to the most current state of the art. Our Update-Team assists IT specialists in planning and implementing updates and migrations, in order to ensure a smooth workflow. This is a service that we are continuously further developing.

Effective immediately, the VISUS Update-Portfolio is being supplemented by two new features: "Always Up2Date Basic" and "Always Up2Date Advanced".

At regular intervals, we check whether your systems are eligible for new patches and in this way always keep you up to the current status. Building on the basic tariff, your systems will also be supplied automatically with Major-Releases, which include not only more security but also new functionalities. In order to meet increasingly complex structures in the IT sector and to better prepare our partners for installing and working with JiveX at their customers’ premises, we are expanding our range of training programs to include the JiveX Compendium.

In the JiveX Compendium, we provide centralized materials on JiveX products that go far beyond the content from our previous service manuals. Carefully compiled information and concepts make sure that JiveX can be integrated into existing IT infrastructures in a standardized way and according to best practice regulations.
