Vienna calling: See you at the ECR

There is one good thing about the coronavirus-induced congress shifting: this year, the European Congress of Radiology (ECR) in Vienna will finally take place in the summer, from July 13-17, 2022. Visit us in Hall X3, Booth 304.

Sub-zero temperatures and snow drifts, which are not unusual for the late February/early March period when the ECR is normally held, will not be around this year. The only danger is that visitors would rather dive into summertime Vienna than into trade fair activity. In that case, however, they would miss the real sights. This year, these can be found at the VISUS booth.

PACS workflow is becoming more important

This includes, above all, further developments of the JiveX Enterprise PACS in artificial intelligence and structured reporting, which can be assessed live at the workstations at the booth. The VISUS developers have, however, also focused on many functional changes in order to make the daily routine in radiology even easier. All in all, the developments do justice to the fact that the relevance of PACS in the day-to-day activities in radiology is increasing and the so-called PACS-Driven workflow has become part of the daily routine.

These are the highlights

Structured reporting: In three steps, JiveX is evolving in terms of structured reporting. Step one has already been completed and includes the orchestration of all studies so that radiologists can optimally overview and plan the interpretation. Next, the report templates of the specialist associations are integrated before the fully structured reporting is possible.

Use of AI: Another development concerns the increased use of AI solutions as part of working with JiveX Enterprise PACS. In mammography, AI (CAD) solutions are an increasingly important topic both in the curative area and in screening, and we can already map these in JiveX Enterprise PACS.

VISUS Academy: The ability to jump directly from the user interface to the Academy helps resolve application issues more quickly without having to interrupt the workflow.
