VISUS hits the Road in Africa and Dubai
Our international sales team has been on the move, generating strong interest with their presentations of JiveX Enterprise PACS and JiveX HCM while making promising connections along the way.
In early September, our international sales team set off on a major trip. For nearly two weeks, our team members traveled through South Africa, Kenya, and Dubai to present JiveX Enterprise PACS and the JiveX Healthcare Content Management System (HCM). “The trip was a success, filled with many valuable connections and promising opportunities. We’re definitely excited to continue building on these discussions, turning them into new, successful collaborations over the next few months,” says Hans Willi Lohrke, Sales Director International.
Attending the HASA Conference
The first stop of our trip was Johannesburg, where our colleagues attended the annual conference of the Hospital Association of South Africa (HASA). Representing the majority of South Africa’s private hospitals, HASA includes major publicly traded medical groups like Life Healthcare and Netcare, as well as key independent organizations such as the Lenmed Group and Joint Medical Holdings. The event provided an excellent opportunity for us to connect with potential distribution partners and prospective customers.
Building Partnerships in Kenya
Our next destination was Kenya’s capital, Nairobi. The country’s Ministry of Health (MOH) works with our partner Stanmed to modernize hospital facilities and initiate their digital transformation. Following an on-site demonstration, it was decided that we would be the preferred RIS/PACS provider, with the RIS component supplied by our solution partner, Radshare, who was also present at the event.
Great News from Egypt
During the last stop of our roadshow in Dubai, our team met with representatives from Neuvisioncare, our partner for the Egyptian market, and received great news. Following a successful trial of JiveX Enterprise PACS at a hospital in Cairo, the Egyptian Ministry of Health (MOH) is planning to roll outour system in 40 hospitals across the country over the coming months.
