ECR 2020: Time for Major Innovations

JiveX was just once again selected by users as the “Best in KLAS” PACS in Europe, and the next piece of good news for our customers comes right on time at the European Congress of Radiology (ECR) 2020: The JiveX version 5.2 brings a variety of new functions to the market which optimize radiological processes even further.

Spine Labeling and Image Fusion

JiveX 5.2 is referred to as a major release, which means a version with comprehensive enhanced features and innovations. The new functions include, among others, spine labeling which is used to help transfer spine markings to all spatial dimensions. It will also be possible to merge PET/CT images.

Better Workflows and Performance

In addition to the purely radiological functions, the VISUS developers focused above all on optimizing communication processes. The complete revision of the preview bar and the pre-examination dialogue will in future greatly simplify access to previous examinations. There is also an option for navigating directly from one annotation to the next. 

Video export of sectional image series will also be possible with JiveX 5.2, and the involvement of patients and referring physicians in the treatment process is strengthened via JiveX Connect. 

Users from the field of mammography in particular can look forward to even greater performance: Multiframe files such as tomosynthesis will be loaded even faster in the future.

JiveX is Europe’s no. 1 PACS once again

The fact that JiveX is one of the solutions most sought after by radiologists and IT directors is proven by the Best in KLAS 2020 Award: For the second year in a row, JiveX Enterprise PACS has left its competitors far behind and is the winner of the coveted KLAS Award. Overall, the VISUS customers surveyed awarded JiveX 92.2 out of 100 possible points – the industry average is only 80.2 points.
